Cousin Brady

Noah has a new cousin! My brother Matt and his wife Caroline had their little boy, Brady, yesterday at 5:47 pm. He took us all by surprise by abruptly showing up 4 weeks early! Poor Caroline was at work yesterday minding her business when all of a sudden her water broke!! Just about 8 or 9 hours later, Brady was here! He is a tiny little thing, 5 lbs. 15 oz and 19 3/4 inches long. He is absolutely PRECIOUS with the most perfect little features! It was so strange holding him, it really felt like just holding a wad of blankets when I am used to my chunky little boy! It is going to be hilarious when we put them side by side.

I am also THRILLED to finally be able to announce that my other brother Scott and his wife Melissa will be welcoming their first baby in early 2009. They told us the news awhile ago, but she had her first doctor's appointment on Monday and we can now tell the world! She is due January 7. Noah is so lucky to have all these cousins around to grow up with! Right now he is really missing Ellie and Mollie, he hasn't seen them since before he got sick. I think a visit is in order for this weekend!
