Today was a special day for our family. This morning was Sam's dedication at church, and it went perfectly! The verse we chose for Samuel is Isaiah 40:31. Our prayer for him is that he will always hope in the Lord, that he will run to Him at an early age and then walk with Him all his life. Today we got to declare that verse for Sam in front our families and our church family. Such a special thing!
After the service this morning, we had our families over to my parent's house for a big brunch. It was really great having everyone together. Sam was so blessed to have his 4 grandparents, 2 of his great-grandmothers, 3 of his uncles, 3 of his aunts, his 5 cousins, and of course his "uncle" Dobbs there to celebrate with him. We are so lucky to be surrounded by such a wonderful family! I hope my boys never take that for granted.
